Craving Praise from the Muse

Why do I need attention, and from which muse do I crave it? The ancient Greeks believed there were nine. Nine inspirational goddesses for art, literature, and science. Eureka! I need all nine! Or maybe not. Melpomene has been whispering too much of late. I need more of Thalia. Yes, less “tragedy” and more comedy. I think I’ve forgotten how to have fun. I need more visits from Euterpe and Terpsichore. All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. All work…

Clio should visit too. Not the award! History muse. I wonder, do my history teacher friends know her? Do you suppose Urania could inspire me, even though I’m not an astronomer? Maybe she could be the stand-in biology muse? Maybe she could be the muse for all science? Us scientists need inspiration too.

How do you call your muse?

Praise

I like making titles with several daily prompt words 🙂
